Finding the Perfect Theater Chair: Selecting Materials and Creating 3D Renderings

Once we have determined the “how many,” and of “what size and shape” for the seating configuration, our next steps in the design process are the determination of the exact theater chair (or chairs) model choices, and in what materials will they be covered.

With most projects, more often than not these are decisions which have already been made earlier in the design process. People seem to gravitate towards “their theater chair style” fairly quickly, and seem to already have a sense of how they want the chairs covered, meaning leather or upholstered. It is not the least bit uncommon when a customer visits our design studio with their designer, that in their first visit they narrow down their leather choices to only a few often very similar colors.
