With all of the different sizes and shapes we have to work with, we thrive on this part of making the jigsaw puzzle work the very best that it can for every customer’s room and design vision for their comfort needs from the seating.

In our extensive experience in the custom theater design business, it would be our observation that no two rooms are dimensionally the same, and the same is true for every configuration we have produced for a customer. For as much as we do more 8 seat projects than any other configuration, even this most common of configurations almost always has customized variations. It is our objective to make the final choices even more perfect than the customer may have imagined were possible.

For first time customers, we will offer the initial custom theater design drawing we do as complementary. For as much as a design can change greatly from start to finish, this first drawing is always amazingly helpful to the customer, for them to get a true sense of what can actually be built and fit properly in their room, with the rest of the room’s dimensions giving it real world placement and spacing.

Configuration recommendation.

It is in this stage where we really get down to the minutiae, for all seating types, sizes, and accessories. That is accomplished by the drawings we provide to the customer, and once we have a proper engagement with the customer, we put no limit on the number of revisions we will supply, in our quest for perfection, and in all but normal circumstances we are able to update our revisions in less than 24 hours.

Follow along as we show how a project evolved from what started out as a totally straightforward version of the standard 4 x 4, and 9 drawings (in only ten total days) later became something altogether different, and far more unique and stylish. At every step along the way, the designer challenged us to dig deeper and show what sort of “design chops” we really have. Bring it on! Along that design path, we made multiple changes to both rows, including a back row with static chairs and ottomans, to a front row with individual seats to give it more of a “clubby feel,” to a back row with a pair of absolutely sumptuous pieces we refer to as “loungers.” Indeed.
